What do the parents of JAKS Academy say about us?
Freddie really enjoys going to JAKS Academy and loves the boys 'Street Dance', he always comes out with a big smile on his face. He has really blossomed with confidence and has learned some brilliant new moves since attending. I would certainly recommend it as the children have lots of fun but also learn a lot too thanks to Miss Kirsty and Miss Becky. Photo is of Freddie with one his street dance pals receiving the 'Star of the week award'.
My 13 year old daughter joined JAKS Academy 2 and a half years ago and attends various dance, drama and singing classes. Since joining JAKS she has come on in leaps and bounds in confidence and performance skills. As a bonus she has made heaps of wonderful friends. Whenever there are extra holiday classes or activities, my daughter is always first in line to sign up! She loves to be a part of the amazing shows that JAKS put together twice a year, as well as competing in various dance festivals around the midlands. JAKS dancers always come away with a mountain of medals and trophies !!! I would highly recommend JAKS to anyone considering sending their child.
Just the best dance school!
Wonderful friendly people and a real family atmosphere. My daughter can't wait for her next dance class so that says it all.
Excellent Dance School... Gives the students endless opportunities to build up their self confidence and to shine!

Recently visited JAKS in a professional capacity to do some 'Flour Portrait' photography. Great atmosphere, helpful staff, and lovely new studio floors ! I can't comment on the lessons but the studio was full of happy smiley children which speaks volumes to me !!
Aimed at students of all abilities. Everyone is included and made to feel special .
Fantastic, our two year old loves her baby ballet class!
We have been part of the wonderful "JAKS Family" since 2010. Our 2 daughters started off attending drama lessons, but within a few months had joined every available dance and singing class. They just couldn't get enough of the place, and still can't! With every performance, show and production the teachers at Jaks create something magical on stage. But more important is the magic created behind the scenes. Our girls have made friends for life, and have a support network at Jaks which is simply priceless. Over the years we have watched them turn from shy little girls into confident, articulate, self motivated and disciplined young adults, and I believe it is all thanks to the exceptional teaching, experiences and opportunities they have been offered by Kirsty, Janine and the other teachers. Jaks is so much more than a dance school, it is a family and a community, and we are so lucky to be a part of it.
We love the relaxed atmosphere - but don't be fooled, Kirsty and the other teachers push the girls very hard! Everyone is super friendly, and the girls are brilliant at supporting each other. My daughter started with one hour long class, and now she does at least six hours a week, absolutely loves it, and can do things that she only dreamed about before - great for fitness, confidence and friendships.
Two years ago my non-dancer daughters tried a musical theatre class, and were instantly welcomed into a very special dance and drama school. Now it's their second home with classes three days a week and they perform and compete with confidence. We wish every weekend could be a festival or show weekend with our JAKS family! They've learned so much more than just dance, drama and singing - discipline, respect, how to be a team player. The incredible, inclusive teaching staff know how to get the best from every single child with the right balance of support and tough love. My girls have made friends for life, and I've also gained a whole new social life!
