*The dress code for the evening is smart, a great excuse
to get you Christmas frocks out ladies.
If the men have black tie then please feel free to wear
it (I know quite a few are!)
*Please arrive for 7pm we have lots to do during the
night so it will be all go, as when the awards etc are
done we need time to boogie!
*We look forward to seeing you all there and we are sure
this will be a great night that we can repeat year on
year.

* Students came to classes dressed in scary Halloween outfits!
- * JAKS 1st Summer school was a huge success! During the week of 17th August 2009, students had a break from their school holidays by joining, "The School of Rock!".

- * During this week the students participated in dance, drama, singing, set design, stage make-up, costume design and they even edited their own Rock video! All of the skills that they learnt at the summer school were put to use when they performed a rock show to friends and family on the last day of the school - keep posted for picture updates and information to when the DVD the students put together will be available.

JAKS Academy sees the start of something new for
September 2009. We are going to be working with teachers
and professionals outside of JAKS to come in and
workshop with all students.
Our first workshop is on confidence building and will
take place on Saturday 12th September 2009.
